After putting off Revive for far too long because I judged the game by its cover and it didn’t appeal to me, I really enjoyed this one.

:white_check_mark: Pros:

  • Deep strategy with meaningful choices
  • Unique tribe abilities & variable setups = high replayability
  • Satisfying engine-building with rewarding combos
  • Beautiful production with dual-layered boards and striking artwork

:cross_mark: Cons:

  • The solo mode is more of an optimization puzzle than a true AI challenge
  • Setup can be a bit tedious due to numerous tokens

We finished playing the Revive campaign, and I have to say, we’re absolutely thrilled with the game! It exceeded our expectations in so many ways. For me personally, it’s quickly climbed into my top 10 games. The mechanics, the story, and the overall experience were all top-notch, and we had an incredible time playing through it. Highly recommend it to anyone considering giving it a go!
